Gearbox is a Borg Warner T5 from a TVR.
I've been advised this is stronger than the original fitted to the Rover cars.
Probably better for my Hawk 289 as the engine will be more powerful than the original standard Rover V8.

Engine is a Rover 3.5 V8 which has been rebuilt and tuned:
390 Holley carb - if anyone knows how to connect this up, please contact me as I have no idea.
Edelbrock inlet manifold
Vitesse pistons 9.7:1
ARP big end and main bearing bolts
Viper Hurricane cam and bearings
Cloyes steel timing gears and chain
20 thou rebore and crank grind
New rockers and shafts
Should make my Hawk 289 quite nippy.
